re tickets and what is the best place to view in the stadium and to park up .?

West stand grim, thats were im trying get one, you can park near duncans on scotlane, hope ill get one.

Park up on Woodhouse Lane and walk over the bridge You will be asked at the ticket office (prebooked) to prove your address I was on computer as only going there when Liverpool played apart from the rugby You will probably only be able to sit in the East stand and if you put Man U colours on in there you will be ejected. If Man U score and you celebrate you will get thrown out you have to sit there as it is the home supporters stand. Be careful.

Done it before peter, seen united twice, liverpool, chelsea 3 times and arsenal, all top teams at the time. Got to have common sense.

A very sad state of affairs if one cannot got to a game and wear your own teams colours without the the threat of intimidation,very sad indeed ,i did not think Wigan speckies were like that .

I see the game is now scheduled for the monday evening the 8th with coverage on I T V so we wont be coming over from NTH LINCS and risk traveling back
late .

United have been allocated the East Stand for the game.

If Latics have given up the east stand solely to make
an extra few quid it really doesn't make sense because it will only be a few quid. If they have done it just to make more money they should have switched the tie to old Trafford, if that's still allowed and had a 45% share of a full house. Anyroad up i hope it's a decent game and Latics get a draw and a replay

You can't swap grounds for revenue reasons anymore.
It doesn't make sense to limit the amount of away fans to a smaller section if the demand from the travelling club is for a bigger quota and the rest of the ground isn't going to be fully allocated and there are no safety issues.
It looks better for the telly if the stand the camera is pointing at most of the time is full, and it was only when Latics got into the Prem that they moved away fans from the East Stand and starting putting them behind the goal anyway.
